BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – Yesterday, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, traveled to Bucharest, Romania.
Ranking Member Shaheen Shaheen met with President Nicusor Dan, Foreign Minister Oana Toiu and Defense Minister Radu-Dinel Miruta. She also witnessed firsthand the depth of America’s security partnership with Romania, including a visit to the European F-16 Training Center. Senator Shaheen conveyed her support for the bilateral relationship and her intent to sustain efforts to strengthen the partnership.
