Corker Opening Statement at First Iran Nuclear Deal Oversight Hearing

December 17, 2015 - At the first oversight hearing for the Iran nuclear deal, U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today warned that the failure to impose consequences on Iran for violations of U.N. Security Council Resolutions and other destabilizing actions sets a dangerous precedent before implementation of the agreement, when sanctions are lifted and the leverage shifts to Iran.
