WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today announced that in the first 100 days of President Trump’s term, the Committee has approved the nomination of a historic 16 Trump nominees. In comparison, during the Biden Administration SFRC only approved 7 nominations in this time.
“Passing nominees to help President Trump and Secretary Rubio execute on their vision for the State Department is one of my top priorities this congress. President Trump has ushered in a new era of American foreign policy where American interests come first, and these nominees are at the frontlines of this change.
